Presentation at the Japan-Taiwan Partnership Strengthening Seminar

Our member, Ms. Fujiwara, took the stage at the Japan-Taiwan Partnership Strengthening Seminar hosted by the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association on August 25th. In her presentation, titled “Tips for formulating a product strategy for exporting to Taiwan – based on social and consumption trends”, She shared key considerations for exporting to Taiwan and summarized recent social trends and shifts in consumer orientation in the country. She also discussed the key to successfully export to Taiwan in the future.

Given Taiwan’s diverse historical background, environmental and social issues are of significant interest not only to the authorities but also to businesses and consumers. In recent years, there has been a growing awareness and commitment to environmental issues, particularly among young people. As a result, Taiwan has the highest number of companies with B Corp certification in Asia, an international certification for companies that prioritize social responsibility and environmental impact (as of August 2023).

The seminar was packed with insights for understanding the key aspects of product strategy in light of these social trends and changes in consumer preferences, empowering participants to start formulating their strategies immediately.
(Additional note by Mr. Okita: Following the seminar, we received positive feedback from a member of the association, who commented, “I was impressed by the well-structured presentation, including the effective use of materials and audience engagement.”)
